If you’re looking for a little bit of luxury in a peaceful location with spectacular views, this is the cottage for you.
Christine was there to greet us upon arrival. She showed us round and explained how everything worked. The cottage was immaculate, very well equipped and there was a lovely hamper in the fridge, so we had all the essentials for a cuppa and breakfast in the morning. We had bikes with us, and we were able to store these safely in a locked barn opposite the cottage. There is a large parking area right outside the cottage so unloading was easy.
We had a very comfortable stay. The open plan kitchen/diner/living room had everything we needed and there was a separate utility with w/m and tumble dryer. The bathroom is luxurious with a lovely free-standing bath and enormous separate shower. We all slept well as the beds are super comfy with fluffy duvets and we were aided by the peaceful location. The hot tub in the garden was a real bonus. It overlooks the valley and it’s a great way to end the day after a day of walking or cycling.
The cottage is ideally located for exploring the island and only a 10/15 minute drive from Douglas. Christine provided us with clear instructions on how to find the cottage. We advise you to follow these instructions rather than putting the postcode in your sat as you could end up in a housing development a few miles away like we did!
This was our first visit to the island but it exceeded our expectations and we still have lots more of the island to explore. This luxurious cottage provided us with the perfect location, and we hope to return again before too long. Thank you Christine.
